Statement
Carol Chiasson Rivas was born in New Orleans and grew up in Chalmette, Louisiana. She and her husband traveled in the US and Europe before settling into the beautiful area of north central Arkansas. She works with pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oils, and inks. Inspirations include architecture, New Orleans scenes and memories, animals, and portraits…really anything that spurs her creativity.
